红杏社区’s occupational therapists use purposeful activity or interventions designed to promote health, prevent injury or disability, and which develop, improve, sustain or restore the highest possible level of independence of any individual who has had an injury.
Occupational therapy may be needed following illnesses: cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disability, physical disability or other disorder or condition.
Occupational therapy can help you develop, improve, sustain, or restore your independence if you have a disability, injury, or illness. Additionally, it can help improve your ability to participate in activities of daily living that have personal meaning and value.

Occupational therapists help patients of all ages to become more independent in grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing, home management and home safety, parenting, community integration, return to work or school and driving.
